Building Context
But best of all...I got to see the spectacular views of the city from the building's roof.
The view is breathtaking. Dozens of landmarks are visible: all of downtown, Roosevelt High School, downtown Clayton, Anheiser-Busch, the Compton Hill Tower and the Midtown skyline, State Hospital, St. Anthony of Padua church, even the Jefferson Barracks Bridges on the distant horizon. On a very clear day, my guide informed me, you can actually see the cars crossing the river.
One penthouse unit will have half the roof space to itself; the remainder is a shared space for all the other units. The space is a bit tight, but it's so worth it.
Photographs from July 15th, 2007.
