3802 Blair has been dying a slow death since I first photograhed it in 1999. The damage is due to water infiltration and freeze-thaw, which causes the bricks to spall off. Its continued vacancy is all the more remarkable considering its location: directly across the street from Hyde Park. It is almost unfathomable that a handsome little house in such a premium spot can stand vacant long enough for this to happen.

The house was still standing in 2010.
