Bellerive Park
Between the Arch and the city's southern tip at River des Pere, only Bellerive Park, at the northern tip of Carondelet, provides a public view of the river. The views shown here were taken from Bellerive.

Among the enigmas visible from Bellerive Park is this shipwreck. The crumbling ruins appear to be a barge which ran aground on a sandbar long ago. The wrecked ship has long fascinated me, but I have no further information on it.
