May 2003: This one image, I hope, shows more than any other the potential that this neighborhood has. A more genteel, inviting, comfortable, elegant street scene could hardly be imagined. The whole neighborhood could - and should - be this beautiful.

Zion Lutheran Church is one of several that punctuate the area's low-lying skyline. The stone building dates from 1895 and faces onto St. Louis Place Park.
