Washington Square Park, on the eastern edge of the neighborhood.
Looking west toward the French Quarter; the St. Louis Cathedral is visible, with towers of the Central Business District beyond.
Esplanade Avenue marks the division between the French Quarter and Marigny. It is an elegant divided road, lined with gracious homes (many converted to hotels and bed & breakfasts) and stately trees.
Houses at the southern edge of the neighborhood, facing the industrial strip and wharfs that line the Mississippi River.
Destroyed wharf buildings across the street.
The same buildings from the river.
View back towards the French Quarter.
Meeting of the French Quarter and Marigny at the river.
