The Continental Building
The architectural centerpiece of St. Louis's midtown skyline is this, the Continental Building.

The Continental Building has long been one of the most unlucky buildings in the city. Troubled almost from its inception, it stood abandoned and rotting for over twenty years -- too big to ignore, too expensive to destroy, too excessive to be restored.

The story of this building is the story of the city itself -- a grand and glorious past, reduced to tattered remants... but making a slow, steady comeback today, and demonstrating just how much untapped potential exists in the city.

The story of the Continental Building:
The Rise || The Fall || The Revival || Completion
