A Spanish Mission style hall, designed by Thomas Barnett in 1921 as headquarters for the Central States Life Insurance Companies.

Next door is an 1885 residence at 3201 Washington. Currently home to a law practice, the house is of a mixed desgn heritage, with some Queen Anne elements jostling with a blocky massing that faintly suggests the Romanesque.
