Third District Police Station
2727 S. Lynch Street
Architect: Albert Osburg
1937

A series of Art Deco buildings, formerly police stations, dots the city. They were designed by architect Albert Osburg, who also did the Soulard Market building and the Homer G. Phillips Hospital.

This one, originally the 3rd District Station, stands just north and west of the massive Anheiser-Busch brewery complex. Like all the small stations, it was shut down in the early 1990s. Today it's home to the Mad Art Gallery.
