The initial round of photographs was taken during a one-day marathon photography-and-survey session in March, 2001. I've since added piecemeal to it; however, after four years, much has changed on these blocks. Old businesses have closed; many new ones have opened, and numerous buildings have been renovated and restored.

Much of this was terra incognito when I set out to document it; I've never researched any of these buildings and know very little about most of them beyond what I could glean from simple observation. If you have any information on any of them, I'd welcome it. Drop me a line.
