"If you think you're part of the solution, you're part of the problem."
Profile: Unafilliated with any organized faction, Peripheral -- like most neutrals on Cybertron -- gets by on whatever he can beg, borrow, or steal... and there's not much on Cybertron to be begged or borrowed. Peripheral is a rugged individualist who makes no secret of his disdain for the warring factions. He's convinced that the only sensible solution is for everyone just to lay down their arms and leave each other alone. And with his glib tounge and affable manner, he has on more than one occasion nearly convinced some of the combatants to do just that. So far, however, his efforts have had negligable effect on the war. Until the opposing sides come to their senses, Peripheral continues to argue against them... and he is content to help himself to whatever he can comphiscate from either force.
Abilities: In vehicle or robot mode, Peripheral is hard to spot and even harder to catch. He slips among the shadows with something akin to invisibility. His power systems are optimally efficient, meaning he requires very little energy to operate. He can thus avoid detection by many sensing devices. His vehicle mode, a low-riding two-wheeler, is equipped with rear optical sensors that allow him to dodge pursuit fire very sucessfully. He is highly maneuverable in either form. He arms himself with a battered old musket laser rifle (which he conceals on his left leg), a small vibro-knife (stored on his other leg), and whatever he can scrounge up from deserted battlefields. He rarely uses his weapons in anger, however, preferring to avoid any and all combat.
Weaknesses: Peripheral is easy to overpower or damage with weaponsfire, particularly given the relatively poor state of repair he is usually in and the low energy levels he operates at.
