Top: I first photographed this well-maintained house in December 1998. On the original version of this web tour, I cited it as evidence that not everything in this part of town was falling apart. It was to my chagrin that I returned in summer 2000 and found that the front porch was collapsing.

Center: But, quality prevailed! The damaged porch was removed and the house got a new coat of paint to boot. December 2002.

Bottom: Immediately west, the good and the bad stand cheek to jowl. March 2001.
