Wellston, Missouri
East of the immolated lands stand ordinary residential neighborhoods. They are marked by occasional burnouts and more than a few abandoned properties, though nothing like the emptied lands to the west.

The houses here are a mixture of styles and ages. Some appear to be quite recent in construction; others match the style of St. Louis houses that are usually over a hundred years old.
