The house at top is another from my first north side trip, in January 1999. It stood on Granville where it meets Ridge.

I revisited it in December 2002, to find a new house had replaced it. I was baffled as to why the builder hadn't bothered to align the new house's front edge with that of the house next door... till I realized the old house was similarly located. The new one probably uses some portion of its predecessor's foundations.
