The North Side: The Holdings of Blairmont, LLC

With the publication of many Blairmont buildings on Ecology of Absence, I was able to find a number of additional Blairmont holdings among my photographs. Many have been vacant for years, but some were recently occupied. One even had a new roof put on in the last three years.

All now face a very uncertain future.

1922 - 1924 St. Louis Avenue - August 2003. The handsome dormer on the center building has since been rebuilt in a more conventional style.
