Webster Groves Christian Church
1320 W. Lockwood Ave. - Webster Groves, West County
Architect:
Date: 1954

A simple building, with orange brick exterior, a tent-like A-frame wood laminate structure inside, and a program of crisp Emil Frei Co. stained glass.

On the horizontal band of lower windows, grayish blue and purple are the primary tones, accented with gold and red. There are no images, only words (Love, Unity, Brotherhood, Literature, Music; the names of various saints arranged by historical era) and geometric forms. Above them, a series of small vertical windows are filled with colored glass decorated with small, simple symbols.

At the front of the sanctuary, four groups of 3 tall narrow windows are illuminated in golden tones with the names and symbols of the Disciples.
