The Moolah Temple stood empty for many years, but recently has been converted to apartments, a movie theater and a bowling alley. An aborted renovation plan for the temple from 2000 would have resulted in the demolition of the neighborhing house; however, it remains standing, and apparently belongs to a "retail barter group" named BXI.
