Two large factory complexes stand on the neighborhood's north edge, with a few residential streets squeezed beyond them.

The western park is known as the Cherokee Properties Industrial Park. The complex's five brick smokestacks are a distinctive landmark on Highway 3 to the west, and hearken back to a time when the complex was used much more intensively.
